  • Hey, I'd listed here last week & then Rob K, on a totally unrelated discussion board & a total stranger, was kind enough to share one of his invites with me so I had my name removed. Although I didn't get my invite from here, I just sent invites to John Robertson & Steverino in honor of Rob & the good work you guys are doing. If I get the chance, I'll try to send you some more.

  • Wow, I got my Gmail account last night ( thanks David F in the UK ) and I've been marveling, learning and importing addresses ever since. Now I need to PAY IT FORWARD.

    We have new next-door-neighbors, a rare thing on our lane. They moved in about two months ago and I've only seen them once to speak to. Moving in can be very hectic. Everyone here is friendly and helps each other out, so I'm reinstating the old "welcome wagon" approach. I'm baking brownies to take over to them. I'll cut some of the last Black-Eyed-Susans (state flower) from the garden with a promise to share new plants in the spring when they propagate. I have a nice orange vase that'll show them off nicely. Maybe I could attach a card with our names, phone and my Gmail! I think they have a cat, so I can offer "experienced" vacation cat sitting and the name and number for my vet.

    You know, good neighbors make good neighbors. Good drivers make good drivers. Good people...Pay It Forward.
